Ben Resnicow
- 10 Lincoln St Newton, MA 02461
Born and raised in Newton, MA, Ben graduated from Newton North and went on to receive a bachelor's in economics from Wheaton College, where he also played 4 years of college soccer. Ben discovered his passion for real estate at Boston’s Luxury Properties in Kenmore Square, where he worked his way up to top agent and office manager. Following that, he was a Junior Partner at Boston Luxe Real Estate, and then briefly transitioned over to Keller Williams before finally founding Commonwealth Standard Realty in 2015.
Ben has a broad range of experience across the real estate industry, having helped clients buy and sell everything from single families to condos, multifamily to commercial, as well as land and short sales, in addition to overseeing tons of rentals. His goal as your broker is to make the buying or selling process as stress-free as possible while ensuring that your needs are met. This hardworking, honest and candid approach he takes to each transaction is the same way he trains his agents to operate.
Ben started Commonwealth Standard because he wanted to provide the type of office environment, mentorship program, and marketing tools to his agents that he’d never quite found himself while working for other offices. Ben strives to create a positive office environment and work culture, provide his agents with the technology and tools they need to succeed, and to individually help each agent reach their full potential. The principles of his mentorship are simple: be honest, work your butt off, perfect your knowledge so you can be a valuable resource to your customers, and always prioritize the quality of your client and business relationships over the size of your commission checks. He has mentored countless agents whose businesses have grown exponentially since joining the company, and he is honored that so many of the first agents and employees to join Commonwealth Standard in 2015 and 2016 are still with him today.
In his free time, Ben can be found skiing the White Mountains, playing chess, and jumping out of the occasional airplane, and he is also an avid Boston sports fan. He lives in Newton with his wife Kelsey, their daughter Michaela, and their dog Baegel.
